Hello! I’m McKenna, a fantasy writer enchanted by worlds where magic and adventure intersect with everyday life. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from NKU (I know—what does that have to do with writing, right?). The truth is, I fell head-over-heels for storytelling the year I graduated, although I’d been scribbling stories and movie scripts for fun since I was a kid.

My fascination with portal worlds, epic quests, and a hint of romance springs from a lifelong habit of daydreaming (and the occasional binge-read of my favorite fantasy books). When I’m not writing, you’ll find me sketching maps of imagined realms, getting lost in forest hikes, or cozying up to a computer game with my two cats, Pip and Paris.

Right now, I’m on the hunt for an agent for my first book and polishing my second novel—a tale of ten portals and an outcast warrior determined to save the multiverse.
